Hotel Industry Social Media Monitor 2012 is an annual survey to assess the adoption, usage and best practices of social media in the global hospitality industry.
The Hotel Industry Social Media Monitor Survey 2012 is now open !
The aim of the survey is to provide a comprehensive view of where hotels are in the development and implementation of their social media activities. The findings would cover the usage practice of web based platforms that facilitate interactive dialogue between users and would include for example: Internet forums, Customer review sites such as TripAdvisor, blogs, Microblogging – such as Twitter, Location-based social networks such as Foursquare, Social networking sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn, Social bookmarking such as StumbleUpon, Social news such as Reddit, and Digg, and multimedia sharing such as YouTube, and Flickr.
It is targeted to all who are involved in social media at hotel property and brand level, plus the agencies who are managing social media programmes on behalf of a hotel or hotel brand.
